St. Luke’s Geriatric Center celebrated its first anniversary
of the GrandPa and GrandMa Club dubbed as “Grampy and
Gramy’s Day Out” from 10 a.m. to 12 noon last October 27 at the Henry Sy
Auditorium St. Luke’s Medical Center-Global City.
A half day of pampering was opened to the public while a lot of
activities were aimed to benefit those
who are physically or cognitively challenged but do not require 24-hour
supervision; those who are already in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease;
those who are mobile, with the possible assistance of a cane, walker or
wheelchair.
Medicus supported the
adult day-care program of SLMC by featuring a 2-way communicator device that undoubtedly
gives the oldies admirable supervision from family, friends, or neighbors at
anytime from anywhere in or around the home.
Show your care for your Grammies and Grampies.
